LETTER FROM THE CHAIRPERSON
2006

Greetings,

Here we are.  It's Sacajawea Festival time again.  Summer has almost ended.  Schools are about to begin.  This is the perfect chance to sell all your friends and family one more time.  We have many things for you to do.  We have many contests, games, music, and more.  This year we will have a new carnival company.  The ride company will be providing arm bands each night.  All you have to do is just come on down and enjoy all the fun.

We have had a great year with lots of community support.  We have had donations for giveaways and a sign from from our local businesses.  We have built a new stage for our contests.  We have done some work on our festival kitchen and more.  Each year we look for different things to help our festival.  Because we are a small town it makes it hard to offer our great community everything we would like but with the help of our community we keep on trying.

After the 2005 festival we participated in Cloverport Days.  And began to plan for this years festival.  Although we are a small town, we have great pride in our festival and the people who help to make it possible.  It takes many to make everything happen.  There are so many ways people can help make our town great.  Just remember you are appreciated by this festival board.
