Highways
Construction of a by-pass around Cloverport was completed in 1993, costing
$8,000,000, and gives Cloverport better access to Louisville and Owensboro
and the interstate highway system. "AAA"- rated trucking highways serving
the area include U.S. 60. Major parkways and interstate highways
accessible within 50 miles of Cloverport include the Western Kentucky
Parkway. the Green River Parkway, and Interstate Highways 64 and 65.
Rail
CSX Transportation provides main line rail service to Cloverport.
Air
The nearest scheduled commercial airline service is available at
Louisville's Standiford Field, sixty miles northeast of Cloverport.
The Breckinridge County Airport has a paved 3,500-foot runway. Cloverport
is also 40 miles east of the Mid America Airpark in Owensboro.
Water
The Ohio River maintains a 9-foot navigation channel. Cloverport has
Riverport Authority.
